Panasonic DMP-BD80 High Clarity Audio Blu-ray Disc Player, Black Review
I got this Blu-Ray DVD along with a Panasonic TV. The promotion said buy the TV and get the player for free. I am not sure yet I will manage to get the promotion to work, as I don't see it in any of the Amazon documents, but the product is certainly great and I don't regret getting it. Unless you link it to the Internet though, you are hardly using its full potential.
Ok, finally got it cleared. As it turns out, Amazon invoice "enhanced" the price of the TV to include the price for the DVD player, then discounted the price of the DVD player at the end. The price on the original page and the price at the final line of the invoice are the same and I really didn't notice that the boost in the total TV price prior to discount was actually embedding the DVD cost. It all looks good, but your head hurts with the math games. Now, when I got the invoice from Amazon card, then you really see the actual picture, as it includes a line for the TV AND ANOTHER for the DVD. In other words...the DVD was not free at all!!!
That was really frustrating as I did not expect this kind of game from Amazon. The products are great, they were delivered on time and I am overall satisfied, but will think twice next time before buying a big item from Amazon.
